Introduction
Margaret Purdey is a researcher, trainer and consultant in learning and management and a personal coach. She has worked for over twenty five years in public, community and private sectors in Australia, the UK and Europe and has experience in public/private project partnership, strategic planning and evaluation.
She has worked with a broad range of businesses, community groups, education and training providers and government bodies and departments in the UK and Australia and has published a number of books on learning, employment and training management and policy. She is currently researching aspects of corporatised higher education and corporate universities in Australia, at the University of Melbourne, for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy. Margaret currently divides her time between Melbourne and the UK.
